In honor of the Sabres 4-2 win against Tampa last night i present my work on of the stars of the game Jason Pominville.

I went to the Hockey exhibitit at the local Albright-Knox Art gallery a few weeks ago and this photographers work was displayed through a long hallway entering the exhibit. I thought it was interesting and never thought just photographing figures could make them feel so alive. The photographer is David Levinthal his website is http://www.davidlevinthal.com/index.html

Sabres logo

During the sabres logo change fiasco in 2006 I was inspired to create a logo myself. I tried to incorporate elements from all the previous logos. I had this for about a year then took another look at it, and redesigned it, I really like this version.

Ryan Miller 1/25/07

For my first post I will show a pencil drawing of Sabres Goaltender Ryan Miller. I'm a Sabres fan so for my work you'll mostly see Sabres artwork, though I do have drawings of other teams players and hockey in general. You'll also see a lot of goalie stuff, being a goalie myself I have an affinity for them.


That was the original drawing scanned in, then i did some work in photoshop and colored it as seen below.
