Jim Link: Miikka Kiprusoff

Jim sent in a treasure trove of art work not to long ago and each one is fantastic. My sabres are taking of the Flames tonight so I decided to post his drawing of Miikka Kiprusoff. There as been some controversy for Sabres fans recently, questioning Ryan Millers play, frankly the team as a whole has not been playing as a team, and yes Miller usually stops some of the goals that he's allowed but I have no doubt he will be able to work on his game and get back to his usual puck stopping self. If I was the coach I'd give him tonight off, play Enroth to allow Miller some more practice time and to get things right on the road where he doesn't have the pressure of the home fans. We'll see how it goes....herrreeeee's Kipper!

Mini Goalie Mask: Calgary Flames

I remember collecting those mini goalie mask key chains but didn't care for just the team logo printed on the top so I got inspired to paint a design based on the team logo on each mask. no these are from years ago (early 2000's I think) so some logos will be outdated but i think some of them are pretty cool. I'd like to bring some attention to an article that was posted on NHL.com this past weekend. David Arrigo looks to be the NHL's go to guy for murals for special occasions, check out his website for more of his work. He even has some goalie mask paintings on there, a feature I plan on doing soon.
