I'd like to point out some other blogs that mix hockey and art but not quite in the same way I showcase here. they feature more about logos and jersey design some great one I enjoy following are Icethetics http://www.icethetics.info/ which is a great source for NHL and minor team jersey news as well as Puckdrawn
http://www.puckdrawn.com/ which is as nice as Icethitics but frequently has design contests. I just got inspired and entered a Star Wars themed hockey jersey. both are really good sites i encourage my viewers to follow them as well.
